Summary: I've been using a pair of slim Olympus chargers for the last few years, and I've taped them together when they broke because I really liked the folding plug on the back. Recently I wanted to recommend a charger/battery combo and came up with the Kodak K2000. It has the same plug arrangement, with no door to break off, and their K2000 charger will pump up a set of 4 high capacity AAs in 3 hours. At about $40 bucks, it's not exactly cheap...but you'll be able to translate that cost into years and years of savings, especially when you factor in the 4 1850 mAh NiCad AA batteries that come with it. The batteries may change (the ones in the picture are 1700s) but most likely only for the better.
