Title: AOL Broadband Ad: They Can Rebuild Him
Reviewer: Ernest Lilley
Date: 03/24/03 Rating:
www.aol.com / Specs

Summary: Looking over my wife's shoulder as she checked her email on AOL and seeing the AOL character surrounded by surgeons, running on a treadmill, zooming off the screen...I knew instantly what the theme music behind the running AOL figure was going to be. Yes, they did a 6 Million Dollar Man parody. Of course, they left out the crash and burn sequence...but that can always do that later. Oh yes, the ad is about AOL's broadband service. It costs $54.95 for their broadband access, or $14.95 if you already have broadband and just want their content. As far as we know, you still can't use your own mail client with it, and for us, that's a deal breaker.

Specs/FAQ (from AOL's website)
