Is this the camera we've been waiting for? We'll have to get our hands on one to find out, but it's promising. The Olympus E-P2 combines a micro-four thirds sensor with interchangeable high quality optics without going the DSLR route. We like this, because it lets the live view feature work the way it should, instead of being forced to accommodate the mirror found in DSLRs. Except for a swing out viewfinder (a detachable display for the hotshoe helps make up for that) this has all the look of what Lecia should be doing with its M series, but isn't.

From release/information:

Product Description: The stylish retro black metal body of the new E-P2 may be reminiscent of a traditional rangefinder - but there's nothing traditional about this powerful new camera from Olympus. The E-P2 is a 12.3-megapixel interchangeable lens camera, and it blends the high-quality still images of a DSLR with High Definition (HD) video, stereo Linear PCM audio recording and in-camera creativity - all inside an ultra-portable, easy-to-use body.

The E-P2 is the world's smallest 12.3-mexapixel interchangeable lens system camera, yet has the creative flexibility to give you a true professional experience with ease.
